Welcome to a comprehensive soccer training program dedicated to developing your child into a well-rounded player beyond the ball. At Develop Every Sport, we believe in more than just skills on the field; we teach transferable life skills, help you child build confidence, and a positive mindset that extend beyond any game. Session Breakdown:
Session 1 Training To Learn: 90-minute session is designed to enhance both technical soccer skills and essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and positive decision-making. Our curriculum integrates Activation/Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) drills, focused topical training, and dynamic gameplay we coach through the flow. This blend of expert coaching and player-led experiences ensures holistic growth—on and off the field—preparing every child for the upcoming season.
Session 2 Training Through The Flow: An organized game that will activate dynamic coaching techniques. Players will find themselves engaged in a game experience that closely mimics their typical match day scenario. The coaching is thoughtfully provided instruction during natural stoppages of play within the game, allowing for seamless integration of learning. Depending on the specific situation at hand, the Coach will choose to either instruct an individual player or address the group as a whole. Additionally, the Coach will deliver real-time feedback as the game unfolds, ensuring they do not disrupt the players' natural rhythm and flow. The primary focus from the Coach will be to inspire players to cultivate their confidence, guaranteeing they possess a solid understanding of the game's structure and transitional moments, while also emphasizing the critical importance of heightened awareness on the field. 70 minutes of coach led; 20 minutes of player led playing.

Pre-Program:
Player Assessment (10 minutes) and Open Play
Establish individual skill levels and personal goals the week of June 23rd.
Weeks 2-4: Ball Mastery, Attacking, and 1v1 Skills
Week 2: BALL! BALL! BALL!
Focus on effective dribbling with eyes on the space, enhancing control and field awareness.Week 3: Body Manipulation
Use your body to control and manipulate the ball creatively and efficiently.Week 4: Beating Pressure
Learn strategies to overcome defenders through skillful maneuvers under pressure.
Weeks 5-7: Defending Skills
Week 5: Pressing and Space Management
Techniques to shrink the playing space, delay opponents, and determine plays effectively.Week 6: Decision-Making as a Defender
Understand primary and secondary defensive roles to make smarter choices on the field.Week 7: Game Awareness
Recognize the right moments to transition into defensive positions to support your team.
Weeks 8-9: Advanced Decision Making, Awareness, Movement, and Communication
Week 8: Understanding Human Moments
Develop spatial and social awareness emphasizing player interaction and positioning.Weeks 9/10: Using Awareness for Decision Making
Leverage heightened awareness to improve on-field decisions, strategic gameplay, movement, and communication.
