Hello All,
Just want to give final thank you for participating in the spring Striking and Finishing clinic. We want to provide a small overview and tip leading into the summer.
First off, its a game of errors AND there is not there is not such thing as a perfect strike. The hope is that your child has the confidence to make a decision on the field and that is the first success on the field. I was at a game a few weeks ago and watched the same player missed a few chance before he scored. In the three shot he too, one was skied and one was wide. The third was a brilliant finish. In all the shots he he grow in confidence. One miss didn’t stop him from taking the next. The support from his coach and the sideline was also positive and encouraging.
With the understand that it starts from the individuals being confidence to accept mistakes, here are a few tip we believe can improve your child opportunities to do the hardest thing is soccer, score a goal:
